So yeah, we recorded this through Google Hangout on Saturday night. Here’s the audio version for the podcast folks out there.
We’ll be doing Google Hangouts for all of our regular episodes now. Episode 1 will be recorded live on Wednesday, April 3rd, at 9 pm Eastern time.
This season’s contest starts with episode 1. The survey can be found here.
Here are some images we chatted about during the episode:
So remember: Live Google Hangouts on Wednesdays at 9 pm Eastern. We’ll be answering questions if time permits during the episode, or we’ll take questions offline and add them to the audio version of the show.
If you want to be invited to the google hangout ahead of time, please add firstname.lastname@example.org to your Google + account and you’ll be added to the list. Also, the link to the YouTube url (where you can ask questions during the hangout) will be posted here, on the SpecFicMedia.com FB page, on twitter, etc. starting at 8:30 pm on Wednesday.
Reminder… this show is NOT safe for work… just like Game of Thrones.
Six months ago a group of intrepid podcasters recorded a Season 2 Review and feedback podcast. Would you believe I was in a coma for awhile? Went to space for a month or three? Yeah, yeah, things just got away from me. But here it is. We hope you enjoy it!
So at 8 pm on Saturday we’ll be recording a very special episode of Beyond The Wall. It’ll be our normal discussion format, but with a live audience at Balticon 46 in Hunt Valley, MD.
We’ll be live. We’ll attempt to be funny. We’ll be giving away prizes. We’ll be inebriated (most likely), especially if we play the Game of Thrones Drinking Game. If you are nearby, please come out and see us!
In addition, I (P.G. Holyfield) will be on some other panels during the convention:
Saturday 10 pm – Dramatization or Straight Read (Salon B) Sunday 9 am – Religious Systems (Salon B) Sunday 9 pm – Stargazers audio Drama (Derby) Sunday 10 pm – Reading (Chase) Monday 11 am – Serialized Science Fiction – the New Pulps (Derby)
Balticon is my favorite convention of the year. It’s small, it’s intimate, and it’s fun. Seriously… you know you want to come.
