Audio: Beyond the Wall – Season 3, Ep. 10

“Mhysa”

Here is the audio from the Episode 10 Hangout back in June. Chooch moderated the discussion, and did a wonderful job!

I wasn’t there… I was at this wedding, see, went out to pee, and the next thing I knew some guy with a wolf’s head almost ran me down with his horse. What the hell was that all about?

I was able to get some comments to Nutty before the show, however–which means I still got to drive Christiana crazy with my grumpiness!!

NEXT WEDNESDAY, August 21st at 9 pm Eastern, we’ll do our season end show, Live on YouTube! Be sure to the look for post here

Episode 10 Hosts:

Chooch (Into the Blender Podcast Co-Host, and bassist of Ditched By Kate)
Vivid Muse (Into the Blender Podcast Co-Host), Girls’ Rules Podcast Host)
Christiana Ellis (too many podcasts to list here, but you can check out all things Christiana at her site).
Nuchtchas (Host of Nutty Bites Podcast)

Videogame Trailer – Mass Effect 3

Dead Island was the first to attempt to tug at the heartstrings with a trailer that had little to do with the gameplay but with the feeling the game was attempting to capture, showing a little girl’s plight (in reverse-time) as zombies attack. With this trailer, Bioware does an even better job of yanking at your heart… with their extended trailer for Mass Effect 3.

From Bioware:

The war for Earth has begun. An unstoppable alien threat, known as the Reapers has invaded and you are the only one who can save Earth from annihilation. See the battle begin first hand in this action-packed cinematic trailer.

Movie Trailer – John Carter of Mars

When I was a kid, most of my friends were big Tarzan movie fans. I was more into monster movies myself. And when it came to Edgar Rice Burroughs, I was always a big “John Carter” fan. Yes, by today’s standards, the story of a man who “dies” and is magically transported to Mars might not play for today’s young readers, but I’m sure they’ll do the story justice on the big screen (okay, I hope).

Description of the movie: Former military captain John Carter (Taylor Kitsch) is transported to Mars where he becomes part of a conflict between the inhabitants of the planet, including Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins), and it is now his job to save Barsoom (Mars) and its people.
