Beyond The Wall – Episode 0

Welcome to the “introduction” episode of SpecFicMedia’s first podcast, Beyond The Wall – A Game of Thrones Podcast. This podcast will focus on a weekly discussion of the HBO series “Game of Thrones,” with additional discussions of the various media tied to George R.R. Martin’s fantasy series “A Song of Ice and Fire.”

First of all, we want to apologize for the audio quality of this episode. Thankfully, it is the “introduction” episode, and we have things in hand to ensure great audio quality going forward. It’s certainly listenable, but it isn’t up to Viv’s high standards, to be sure. 😉

Great first episode, and I'm glad I listened before tonight's premiere. PG, How did you manage to read the first three books in ASOIAF in a month? My paperback of GoT is 800 pages long and it took me a few months to finish just that one. Also, while you have the HBO subscription, check out True Blood and Treme, both of which have new seasons starting soon. True Blood is the spec fic show, but you should watch Treme for the music, if nothing else.

Maybe a little longer than a month, but I certainly tore through them. 😉 – Saw the first few episodes of TB when it started. Will check out Treme… actually, maybe not. I have no time for another new show (new for me, anyways 🙂 ).

thank you for listing the time codes for subject changes – that is pretty nice of you — made it easy to listen.
